Company profile

We, the AdaptVis GmbH, are a young EXIST-startup, specialized in real-time visualizations of complex data-sets for the web and mobile devices.
Our vision is an innovative visualization-software, which can adapt to most diverse requirements while keeping the customization effort minimal at the same time. This includes the intended application, usage by experts or ordinary people, persons suffering defective vision and devices ranging from smartphones to professional graphics-displays. A first application will be our app AdaptVis Weather. But we would like to share the technology contained with potential partners, too.

Animated Visualization on Maps

This software enables the visualization and animation of time-dependent georeferenced data on maps using a visual appealing presentation. It is applicable as a web-application and as an app on smartphones and tablets. Selecting the map section is done intuitively by camera-navigation. At higher zoom-levels, more

Community-based adaptive Visualization

The useful amount of displayable information in visualizations always depends on the display size and individual user requirements. The content of a desktop monitor displayed on a smartphone would result in information displayed in too high density to be perceptive by humans. Vice versa, the large viewing more

Remote Rendering for Web & Mobile

We are developing a server-based software framework which allows us to stream graphical complex real-time applications (e.g. OpenGL / Direct3D) interactively to the web or mobile devices. This approach does not depend on the hardware capabilities of the client to show the visual content. Also, it is more
