NEDO, New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, is one of the largest public research and development management organizations in Japan. It has two basic missions: 1) addressing energy and global environmental problems, and 2) enhancing industrial technologies. NEDO promotes a variety of technology development and experimental projects by integrating the combined technological efforts of corporate, academic and government organizations.
